Each and every year I love the Google Doodle on Veterans Day. 2013 was no exception to that as well. This year does bring back a memory of standing on Main Street USA watching the Veterans of wars past wave to the people of the city. These parades have been snuffed out in many locations across this country. I remember them as a kid but in the last 20 years I have not seen them anymore. I am sure they still do happen in some small cities but not in large cities anymore.

As a veteran myself I am glad that Google did this Doodle and I one day look forward to seeing the Navy Doodle.
