The NSA and the USA are malicious hackers

So I usually stay out of politics, I do not tread into politics or religious related issues. I do not feel that it is my place and I will not be delving into religious issue on this post. I will be talking about the NSA. I used to hold a SCI clearance when I was in the US Navy. I knew some of the stuff we did and I will not be talking about those things. I knew we spied on foreign countries and as I was stationed in Japan and I didn’t care then and I still don’t.

I do care if we are spying on our own citizens. I served in the military for the freedoms that we cherish. I do not agree with domestic spying on citizens of our country. I once swore an oath stating:

I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same.

There are many issues that I have with the NSA. Apple came out today and said in a statement that the NSA can put spyware on 100% of Apple’s products, including the iPhone, are these: “malicious hackers.” The US government who is a bastion for freedom and the ideas that everyone cherishes has become no better then the hackers from China or North Korea and other nations that want to bring harm to US citizens. Microsoft said earlier this month:

… government snooping potentially now constitutes an ‘advanced persistent threat,’ alongside sophisticated malware and cyber attacks.

We all want to live in a world that is safe and secure, but we also want to live in a country that is protected by the Constitution.

Yes, Microsoft officially regards the NSA — its own government — as an unconstitutional advanced persistent threat. The company has vowed to sue the government over every non-transparent data request it gets. Keep in mind that 99% of Government computers runs Windows.

I live in the Silicon Valley now, I am a very conservative person. I do not agree with the government and what they are doing. I hope the President Obama actually lives up to his promise of a transparent government. Right now he is the worst President we have ever had and I think Nixon was the worlds biggest liar. Now we have President Obama that is allowing this and he is doing nothing to end it. He promised change, I guess the change he wanted was more spying on us.

It is only a matter of time before other countries will not take products from companies made in the US. President Obama is hurting US business overseas by allowing the NSA to intercept and place tracking devices or to hack into softwear used by people overseas. They will not trust US products and we will lose out to other countries.

My two cents.
